A Meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at 8:00 P.M. via ZOOM Webinar. The meeting will be broadcast live on WHOH-TV 75 or FIOS 43 and http://whoh-tv.org.
A meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals will be held on Thursday, May 28, at 8 p.m. It will be conducted in accordance with Executive Order 202.1. As such, the meeting will be held virtually via videoconference using the ZOOM platform and able to be seen live on Channel 75 (Cable), or Channel 43 (FIOS), or streaming live on www.whoh-tv.org. Members of the Zoning Board and staff participating in the meeting will be doing so remotely through videoconference. Furthermore, there will be no public participation in-person; however, all public comments will be heard via email at zoning@hastingsgov.org. AGENDA
For the View Preservation Approval, as required under Section 295-82, and relief from the strict application of Village Code Sections 295-68F.2.a[2] for a new single-family dwelling on their prospective property at 0 Pinecrest Parkway. Said property is located in the R-10 Zoning District and is known as SBL: 4.100-95-41 on the Village Tax Maps.
Non-conformity details of the proposed construction are as follows:
1. VP approval – {295-82}
2. Development Coverage: Existing – 15.42%; Proposed – 39.99%; Required Max – 35% {295-68F.2.a[2]}; Variance Required – 7.77%
Relief from the strict application of the Village Code Section 295-20.B.8 for a new arched fence at their property located at 10 Riverview Place. Said property is in the 2R Zoning District and is also known as SBL: 4.30-20-28 on the Village Tax Maps.
Non-conformity details of the proposed arched fence are as follows:
Fence height: Existing – 4.0 ft.; Proposed – 7.83 ft.; Required Max – 6.5 ft. {295-20.B.8}; Variance Required – 1.33 ft.
Relief from the strict application of the Village Code Section 295-52A for a new spa at their property located at 7 Zinsser Way. Said property is in R-10 Zoning District and is also known as SBL: 4.40-26-8 on the Village Tax Maps.
Non-conformity details of the proposed spa are as follows:
Pool/Spa/Pond setbacks: Existing – NA; Proposed – 15.0 ft.; Required Minimum – 20.0 ft. {295-52A}; Variance Required – 5 ft.
